Altaine
why we do it:

Mobile communications are rapidly and fundamentally changing the way that people work, live, shop, love and interact with the rest of the world. 4 billion people, more than half of the world’s population, own mobile phones, and the number is growing rapidly. Unlike other mediums, the mobile phone enables individuals to be connected 24x7 – leading to a new culture of connectivity.

This mobile revolution has the potential to transform the relationship between consumers and corporations in a way that is mutually “empowering”. New era Mobile Commerce solutions give consumers an unprecedented degree of control over sourcing, personalizing, ordering and delivery of products and services. For corporations, the mobile medium represents a marketing, sales and service delivery channel that is highly measurable, offers a substantial amount of control (messages can be delivered to specific audiences at specific times of the day), is cost effective and is already proven to drive superior business outcomes.

Solutions that enable corporations to leverage the mobile channel have been piecemeal – for example, mobile sweepstakes and coupon solutions both provide value to clients, but to generate maximum returns a wider and comprehensive Mobile Engagement solution is required. Altaine is driving the development of the Mobile Engagement market, offering the only integrated solution suite spanning all mobile commerce/ordering, mobile marketing, mobile loyalty and mobile content functions.

our history:

Altaine was formed in 2002 as mobile phones developed into powerful multi-functional communication devices which offered new and exciting opportunities for businesses to better connect with their consumer customers.

In 2003 Altaine pioneered the concept of a consumer to call centre SMS channel, successfully patenting SMS call back technology.

In 2004 Altaine deployed the world’s first integrated mobile, SMS and web commerce solution for SUBWAY® and since that time many respected QSR organisations, like Pizza Hut and wagamama, have benefited from Altaine solutions.

Today, Altaine works across many industry sectors, spanning consumer goods, QSR, finance, technology and insurance. Altaine applications have received many industry awards from organisations like Motorola and independent telecommunications associations as well as featuring in Apple’s iTunes “New & Noteworthy”, “What’s Hot” and “Staff Favourites” sections.

At a time when there is now a lot of talk and focus on new channels for consumer engagement, Altaine is one of the few organisations that can demonstrate a track record of REAL achievement coupled with outstanding reference sites.
