The Brief:

Green Flag wanted to be first to market in the breakdown service industry on mobile - the obvious starting place was iPhone.

Insight:

Audience: The 'on the road' experience is important for Green Flag's customers, so having a better and faster way to connect with Green Flag in times of emergency is comforting. 'Everything I need to utilise my membership in an App' 'no more searching in glove box for papers'.

Technology: Utilise GPS and location based services to deliver real time information on customers' locations and to check for live traffic information. Q JMP server and mobile form the base of the solution.

The Big Idea:

To enable drivers to connect with Green Flag via a 'one click' rescue service. Let drivers get the latest traffic info and plan their journeys on the fly.

Benefits:

Audience: Convenient recovery channel everything I need to connect with my car and Green Flag on my iPhone.

The Green Flag Rescue Me App for iPhone and iPod touch is evidence we continue to put our customers first, challenging the rest of the breakdown market to improve its game.
