Meet Warren Tobin…

Altaine C.E.O.


Having identified an untapped opportunity for organisations to capitalise on the B2C communication capabilities of mobile technology, Warren co-created Altaine in 2002. Considered a pioneer in his field, Warren successfully brought to market and patented SMS automated call backs for call centres and drove the deployment of the world’s first integrated mobile App and eCommerce solution within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) sector (SUBWAY NZ 2006).

Previous to that, Warren was a key part of the small team of four who created one of the world’s first CRM software companies. With responsibility for marketing and sales, Warren led the expansion of operations in 25 countries, developing a blue-chip roster of clients, including GlaxoSmithKline, 3M, Fuji Xerox, Eli Lilly, Baxter Healthcare, Roche, Merrill Lynch, Microsoft and Merck.

As CEO of Altaine, Warren is responsible for setting the strategic direction while also retaining a hands on role with R&D, key accounts, sales and marketing.

Meet Jo Gelb…

Altaine Director


Jo brings nearly 20 years of experience within the technology industry, including 10 years working exclusively in mobile technology.  As a Director of Altaine, Jo has responsibility for global operations as well as project management of several of the organisation’s key accounts, including SUBWAY (UK and NZ) and Nando’s. Jo has a strong background in software and telecommunications with previous sales and project roles at Microsoft, Oracle and Telecom NZ. Her experience spans a broad array of industry sectors including advertising, pharmaceutical, hospitality, financial services and most recently QSR (Quick Service Restaurant).

Jo has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland.









Meet Leon Travers…

Sales Director, Europe


Leon is responsible for Altaine’s European sales and business development. Leon brings depth and experience of the QSR and Technology sectors and is responsible for introducing and managing – Nando’s, SUBCARD, wagamama and Carluccio’s within the Altaine family.  Leon’s expert knowledge of this environment has cemented the relationships with technical partners such as PayPal and Micros.

In his previous career he worked as Sales Director for the large UK DVD/CD printing firm, CMCS, and as New Business Director for St Ives PLC. Leon was personally responsible for the development of millions of pounds of new business for both organizations.
